Cosmic, spacy, funky, soulful and evolving jazz sound is here! Only YUSUKE HIRADO can create this one-of-a-kind fusion of Jazz, Hip Hop, and Electro! While following in the footsteps of Dego, Kaidi Tatham and Henry Wu, the Broken Beats of West London, Yusuke also draws inspiration from jazz master Miles Davis, Roy Ayers, James Mason and other jazz and rare groove masters. The title of the album is "Touch" ("Touch" is a word that means "touch" in Japanese). The title of the album is "TOWER OF TOUCH", which means "the pinnacle of touch", as Hirato, a keyboard player who conveys sounds through his touch (fingertips) and aims for the world with this album. The members invited for this project are Takuya Nakayama, a 23-year-old bassist from the promising young jazz band Gecko & Tokage Parade, and Masaki Nagata, a drummer known as a member of Zainichi Funk and for his collaboration with Hajime Yoshizawa! The music is a story derived from a highly flexible session style, creating a sense of tension and exuberance never before seen in Hirato's work.
