The ZARD unreleased track "Tsubasa wo Hirogete" finally sees the light as the theme song to the latest "Detective Conan" theatrical feature. Originally penned by Izumi as the second single for artist Deen, a ZARD-version self cover of this track has been highly anticipated by fans around Japan. While ZARD has, of course, released self-cover albums like "Totuzen" and "Kimi ga Ita kara," "Tsubasa wo Hirogete" never saw the light of day due to differences with album concept or song ballances. Also includes B-side "Detective Conan" intro theme "Ai wa Kurayami no Naka de" and reversible "Detective Conan" card. Limited edition includes bonus DVD with live footage of the song "Kitto Wasurenai" from the September 14, 2007 "ZARD What a beautiful memory" performance at the Nihon Budokan. *Unless otherwise indicated, DVDs are region-2 encoded (Japan, Europe, and Middle East), and carry no subtitles.

ZARDの未発表曲「翼を広げて」が、ゆかりの深い「名探偵コナン」映画版主題歌に決定! 「翼を広げて」はDEENの2ndシングルとして坂井泉水が歌詞提供した大ヒットナンバーで、ZARDのセルフカバーはファンの間でも長く待たれていた作品。これまで「君がいたから」「突然」をはじめ、数々のセルフカバーをオリジナルアルバム等で披露してきたZARDですが、「翼を広げて」は、アルバムコンセプトや収録曲のバランス等の理由から、これまでCD収録はされていなかった作品。この度映画主題歌決定を機に、ついに初CD化が実現!! また、TVアニメ『名探偵コナン』オープニングテーマでオンエアされ、リリースが熱望されている「愛は暗闇の中で」とのダブルAサイドシングルとしてリリース! 「名探偵コナン」リバーシブルカード封入。初回限定盤のDVDには、「きっと忘れない」LIVE映像 (2007年に行われた「ZARD What a beautiful memory」9/14 日本武道館より)を収録。
