現代オーストラリア最高のシンガー・ソングライター、グランド・サルヴォことパディ・マンの3年ぶり6枚目となるニュー・アルバム。ニルス・フラームが共同プロデューサーを務め、ベルリンにある彼自身のスタジオでレコーディング。その並外れたソングライティングとクラシカルなアレンジメントは2009年リリースの前作『Soil Creatures』で完成をみたと言っても過言ではないが、本作では2008年の前々作『Death』と同様のコンセプト・メイキングに立ち戻り、寓意に満ちたフェアリーテイルのような作品に仕上がっている。前作に続き、メルボルンのバンド、ルルックのゾーイ・ランデルが参加。他にはレーベル・メイトのヘザー・ウッズ・ブロデリックと、ローラ・ジーンがそれぞれヴォーカルで参加。国内流通盤のみ、歌詞対訳とボーナス・トラック「The Old Woman Broods Morbidly on the Subject of Her Death」(未発表曲)のダウンロードクーポン付き。
