エターナル・グルーヴズからローリング・ストーンズの壮大なレコーディング全音源収録プロジェクトがスタート。第1弾はデビュー前の1962年、LITTLE BOY BLUE AND THE BLUE BOYS (ミック&キース在籍)と名乗っていたころのデモや、ブライアン・ジョーンズが加入後のR・ストーンズとしての最古の録音「You Can't Judge A Book By Looking At The Cover」 (1962年10月27日)から、ビル・ワイマン、チャーリー・ワッツが参加した1963年のIBCスタジオ・デモはもちろん、デビュー後のスタジオ・レコーディングを時系列に沿って徹底網羅。世界へ先陣を切ったビートルズと共に、ロンドンのクラブシーンを賑わせた若きR&Bバンド、ストーンズの沸騰寸前の熱気が伝わる初期音源集。ライナーノーツ封入。
