鷺巣詩郎は1978年、ザ・スクエア (T-SQUARE)のデビュー盤にアレンジャーとして参加、翌1979年に自身のデビューアルバム『EYES』をリリース! 以来43年間ずっと作編曲家として活動、数えきれないヒット作品に関わり、プロデューサーとしても多くの作品やアーティストに携わってきた。ただし、鷺巣詩郎の自己認識はあくまでも"作編曲家""レコード・アーティスト"の両輪である。一人の作曲家が一枚のアルバムを世に問うことは珍しくない、しかし一人の作曲家が同一シリーズのアルバムを20年で10作リリースした例は国内外あまりない。そんなとてつもない歴史的カタログの11作目となる今作は黒人、白人、日本人シンガーによる多種多彩な歌唱、世界一のスタジオ大編成オーケストラ～世界有数のリズムセクション・世界最先端のダンス・ミュージック、それらを駆使したオリジナル楽曲、さらにアニメ「エヴァンゲリオン」音楽作品のセルフカヴァー、NHKアニメ「ふしぎの海のナディア」音楽作品のセルフカヴァー、「JRAファンファーレ」「入場行進曲」のセルフカヴァーなどを収録した2枚組。もはや、国、ジャンル、歌もの、インストというカテゴライズは、ここには存在しない!
