HOLSTEINが2010年4月11日 渋谷CLUB QUATTROのライブを最後に解散。数々のフォロアーが生まれてくる中、最後まで追い抜かれる事無く、常に2歩3歩先を歩み続けてきたHOLSTEINの10年の軌跡を形に残したいと願いこの作品を作ることにした。過去の作品からメンバーが選曲した13曲に未発表曲でもあり最後に作られた大作「eschatology」を加えた全14曲を収録。
