プログレッシヴ・ロックのアナザー・ストーリーとして絶大なる人気を誇る英カンタベリー・ロック・シーンにおいて、ひときわ異彩を放っていたハットフィールド&ザ・ノース。結成33年目にして実現した2005年の初来日公演を収録したライヴ・アルバムが、収録から20年の時を経て遂に公式リリース! 限定500セット! 2005年10月1日と2日の2日間、川崎CLUB CITTA'で行われた伝説のハットフィールド&ザ・ノース初来日公演は、"ライヴ・レコーディング・セッション・シリーズ"のひとつとしてオフィシャル・レコーディングされたにも関わらず、諸般の事情によりCD化が叶わずお蔵入りとなった。その公演からわずか8ヵ月後にドラムのピップ・パイルが急逝し、2017年にはフィル・ミラーも亡くなり、残されたオリジナル・メンバーはリチャード・シンクレアひとりとなった。今回リチャードによって発掘されたDATテープから、ようやく初来日公演の公式CD化が実現することに。ハットフィールド&ザ・ノースの特徴である、インプロヴィゼーションの応酬と温かなリチャード・シンクレアのヴォーカルが堪能できる、正真正銘の激レア音源がリリース!! ボックス・セット仕様: ●E式紙ジャケットCD 2枚組×2セット (4枚組)〈The Rotters' Live Vol.1 / The Rotters' Live Vol.2〉 ●三方背ボックス仕様 ●カラー・ブックレット (カラー・ブックレット内に当時のコンサート・パンフレットを縮小で再現) ●ボーナスCD (未発表音源入り) ●解説
